[ES – English below] Beatriz Ríos (1990), periodista freelance, reportera de televisión y moderadora con sede en Bruselas.

Trabajo cubriendo asuntos europeos, movimientos sociales y derechos humanos. Me licencié en 2013 en Periodismo por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y obtuve un Máster en Relaciones Internacionales, conflictos, seguridad y paz, por la Universidad Libre de Bruselas en 2015.

Desde 2014 trabajo como freelance para distintos medios nacionales (cuartopoder.es, Público.es, La Sexta, Telecinco, Antena 3, Cuatro…) e internacionales (EURACTIV, LN24, BBC, Sky News, Aljazeera…).

Actualmente, cubro Bélgica y la Unión Europea para Telemadrid, EL MUNDO, The Luxembourg Times y Euranet+ News Agency. Aunque combino mi trabajo como reportera con la noticia de último minuto, mi especialidad es contar historias. Escribo habitualmente sobre política internacional, derecho internacional, Unión Europea, economía, asuntos sociales y migración.

Estoy abierta a colaboraciones en castellano, inglés y francés y dispuesta a viajar si es necesario.

[EN] Beatriz Ríos (1990), Brussels-based freelance European reporter, broadcast journalist and moderator. I work covering European affairs, social movements and human rights issues. I graduated in Journalism in 2013 by the University Complutense of Madrid and I got a Master Degree in International Relations, conflicts, security and peace by the Free University of Brussels in 2015.

I have been working as a freelance journalist since 2014 both for Spanish (cuartopoder.es, Público.es, La Sexta, Telemadrid, Telecinco, Antena 3, Cuatro…) and international media outlets (EURACTIV, LN24, BBC, Sky News, Aljazeera…) I currently cover Belgium and the European Union for Telemadrid, EL MUNDO, The Luxembourg Times and Euranet+ News Agency. Although I work as a reporter and I cover breaking news, I am a storyteller. I write mainly about politics, EU affairs, social affairs, economy and migration.

I am ready for assignments in English, Spanish and French and willing to travel and reallocate if necessary.
